Regular update from the HOA - June

Hello Woodland Ridge!

We are approaching the time of year where we begin to collect voluntary contributions to help with the maintenance of our grounds and to provide security for the subdivision.

We are respectfully requesting everyone to consider a voluntary donation of $150.00. At our last monthly meeting, we decided to keep our budget at current levels. Given our current participation level of approximately 75% of our residents, that will give us about $2,000 more dollars in operating revenue over the current fiscal year.

Things happening soon:

  1. We have been gathering mulch (free) from local nurseries and we will soon be spreading the mulch around all of our boulevard oaks.

  2. We are working towards restarting the neighborhood garden club. We will be spreading the mulch with a skid steer so don't worry that we are about to work volunteers to death!

  3. When we spread the mulch, we will also be tending to the azaleas on the boulevard by removing the scrub brush/trees/weeds, and trimming the bushes into shape.

  4. In early fall, when it is cooler, we have a community event planned that will be a lot of fun and provide all of our residents with a chance to relax and pass a good time.

  5. We are also getting bids on pruning the boulevard trees to make sure they maintain optimal health, shade, and beauty. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.

  6. Just a reminder. Be mindful of parking in places where bad characters can gain easy access to your vehicles. Keep them as close to the house as possible and always lock your vehicle. Neighborhoods in our area have been reporting vandalism and theft.

If you have been helping with your donation, THANKS! If you have not been participating, please consider doing so. All dollars go towards maintaining the qualify of life in Woodland Ridge.

Regards,

Wade Smith

Pres. HOA
